About

By increasing PAD awareness nationally, the PAD Resource Center seeks to improve access to PAD screening and treatments, which are shown to improve quality of life, reduce care costs and prevent limb loss. Recognizing that PAD is a leading—and preventable—cause of death in the United States, the goal of the PAD Resouce Center is to highlight community-based solutions designed to improve awareness and prevention of PAD, reduce geographic disparities in access to care, and secure patient access to high-quality, cost-effective interventional treatment across America.

This initiative is intended for clinicians who encounter and care for patients who have or are at risk of developing PAD, including primary care physicians, NPs, PAs, interventional cardiologists, interventional radiologists, vascular surgeons, wound care specialists, podiatrists, endocrinologists, nephrologists, diabetologists, pharmacists, nurses, cath lab technicians, and vascular technologists.
